  The hotel is in a quiet but I believe basically safe though somewhat dilapidated neighborhood. That said, the hotel itself is as charming a place as you can imagine. The staff was BEYOND helpful and willing to help us with whatever we needed. They even had a driver for hire, Khalid, who was truly an amazing person. Our clothes were folded and they even was - I have been to many places in different countries. Mnar Castle is one of the very good choices. The Receptionist girl was thorough professional who handled many guests at the same time. Facilities were excellent.   The rooms were large and we had a seafront room with a large balcony. Large beds (actually 2 pushed together) that can easily be made twin beds. Large bathroom with a bathtub. The swimming pool was being prepared for the summer during our visit but looked nice. Plenty of choice for breakfast. The hotel is at the far end of Tangier beach, so a car or taxi required to get to the medina, shops and restaurants. There was a m - I loved the facilities. The room was big, with two bathrooms and all the little things that make tourists happy (robes, slippers, body lotion, etc.) Very fancy hotel! The breakfast was okay. The hotel is next to the beach and has a swimming pool. That part of the beach is not very clean though.
