  We loved our stay in Riad Houdou because of the beauty of the place, and the kindness and attention of Eric and Didier, the hotel proprietors, and all the lovely staff. I went with my two elderly aunts and we had a fantastic time. Even before we reached the hotel, the owners had worked out that our plane had been delayed (diverted to Agadir because of a sandstorm) and adjusted the evening meal for us. The ambience of the hotel was very relaxing, with a quiet courtyard and plunge pool for reflection and reading during the heat of the day. Flowers in all the rooms really did add something extra.   The location in the middle of the souks was great. The riad itself is beautifully renovated with a central garden onto which all rooms open. Rooms are nicely decorated according to the color, with authentic Moroccan touches. The owner is always ready to help, with suggestions or bookings (though sometimes more costly than if booked via other excursion operators - The riad is beautiful, decorated with a lot of attention to detail, it is very clean and the hosts are wonderful. We felt like we were guests in Bruno's house and family (that includes cat , dog, squirrels, fish and bird :) ). The riad is located in the medina, and the main square is 5-10 min of walking (if you don't get lost). And the breakfast was great (be prepared for a lot of sweet things). The pool is a nice way to cool off and relax, besides the air conditioned room.
