The hotel is a large walled complex that feels like an oasis in itself, with a beautiful swimming pool and lots of outdoor communal seating. We visited during winter and there were very few guests, which allowed dinner to be served in front of the open fire. Perfect location right next to the old mellah and the palmerai.

  We stopped in Taroudant en route to Essaoiura from the desert. As it happened, it was our one cloudy day in two weeks but despite the dank weather we ventured into the Medina city. It's only small, unlike sprawling Marrakech and provides a better reflection of ordinary Moroccan life. The receptionist was very welcoming and - A wonderful Riad with most beautifully and individually decorated and very clean rooms. Based on the very good description and fotos sent by the Riad after booking, it was very easy to find the Riad. All the staff, especially Ben, are very friendly and kind, so we enjoyed our stay very much. Our kids loved the wonderful little pool (which they could use even late at night). We would recommend this Riad to everybody.

  We stayed at Dar Qamar to break up a return trip to Marrakech from Merzouga, and we wish we had more time to spend here. The hotel is appears to be down some back street, but what a place it is. Behind the walls is a beautiful pool area and gardens with peacocks. The lounge area was comfortable and there was even some Wifi if you need it. Like many French-run hotels in Morocco you can get wine. - The place is really amazing and beautiful while at first the surroundings and the last 1.5 km might not find your approval (see earlier comments) but this wasn't an issue for us and our stay was very peaceful. A beautiful well maintained garden is surrounding a nice pool area, the amazing patio is inviting to relax, to read, to have a drink.. During our stay the owners (French couple) were absent but the place was well run, good a friendly staff.

  We were offered a ride to the Bivouac by the owner who met us at a nearby town. When we arrived we were welcomed with tea.   I was in Ourzazate with a group of 10 friends traveling across Morocco and we stayed in Residence Rosas for 4 nights. The apartments are new, spacious, each with bathroom and fully equipped kitchen, all nicely designed with stylish furniture. The staff is very friendly and flexible (I.E. they prepared breakfast early in the morning if we asked for that). The breakfast i - The gentleman at receiption was very helpful in finding us a taxi, to take us around the city. The taxi cost was very low and affordable . His communication skill was good. The breakfast was good with a few extra cups of coffee included in the price ( very generous ). Will definitely recommend Residance Rosas to other travellers, infact Rosas was recommended to me by a friend.
