The room was spacious and beautiful. The staff had a nice welcome and everybody was helpful. The breakfast buffet was really good according to us. The location was good, close to the Medina and also many attractions by foot, like the Mosque, Sacre Coeur, Mohammed Place V and more. If you take the train from the airport (should cost 40 dirham each), get off at Casa Voyageur and then take the tram (which is brand new and a very good transportation, should cost 7,50 dirham each) to Place nations u.
所有评语 » In general we liked the hotel, it's located in the center and has large rooms and bathrooms. The rooms facing the streets are a bit noisy, but wasn't a real problem. The rooms are well decorated, however the furniture is pretty old (the sofa in the room was stinking, so the manager sprayed it with some air freshener; didn't really help, but at least he noticed the smell first, before we had to point it out). The staff was very helpful and friendly, so thank you for that. Altogether, not a spec. Very comfortable clean, quiet rooms. Friendly, helpful staff, and a good location, especially given all the big-budget hotels in the neighborhood. TIP: not all taxi drivers know this hotel or even the street, so tell them to take you to the Royal Mansour Meridien, and then walk one block over and around the corner. The room and the bathroom were nice and big, you wouldn't feel suffocated. It's perfectly fine for a 1-2 nights stay. Breakfast was OK! Location: it's great because you're really close to Casa Port, but I didn't feel comfortable at all around the hotel. Quiet and very comfortable beds. My husband was sick when we arrived and reception lady arranged a doctor to come to our room promptly and enquiries as to his health next day. They also allowed him to rest and have a late checkout. Central location in the hotel district and near interesting downtown sites. Tastefully decorated large room with modern bath. Friendly and helpful staff. Be aware that the direction on Google Maps isn't right, the hotel is located on the opposite side of the big road. Really didn't like the service at the restaurant during the breakfast. You have to like the music on Saturday night, because you will hear it very clearly in your room. The customer service was a bit weird, not really professional, let's say. Internet didn't work in the room, you must be close to the entrance door or in the hall. Location advertised as close to train station but this station is not the main railway station. Nothing. None. Thin walls make for a high noise level....as does the center city location. Restaurant for evening meals seemed expensive. Many other restaurants nearby. A lot of noise from outside. The only downside of the hotel's great location is that taxi drivers try to charge you more for the trip since there are a lot of business hotels around. Breakfast was rather ordinary, particularly after the breakfasts we had experienced in riads during the previous two weeks. wifi did not work in the room as promised elevator had problems first day. The noise - although in a side street the noise from the main road was continuous. Also the music from the restaurant underneath went on until 01.30 am. Why they start music in the restaurant at 22h30 ?, I have dinner from 19h00 till 20h30 and not willing to stay for 2 more hours . poor choice for breakfast; cold floors; poor wi fi connection on the top floors. Too loud on the street to open the windows, but it was convenient for everything!. Restaurant was mediocre. They had live music, which was nice, but everyone was smoking at all the tables, so I couldn't stay. The room has no coffee tea and refreshers facility. A bit noisy on Saturday night because of the hotel restaurant and wi-fi not excelent but would stay there again. Nobody called me about fogotten keys in the safe after leavng. The acustic isolation of the room: it is noisy in the room due to heavy traffic outside (with claxons). on the 6th floor the elevator engine of th e7th floor can be heard as well inside the rooms. The breakfast, poor and bad assisted (lack of cups, food and many other things). Very noisy (windows don't protect from the noise of the street), restaurant doesn't taste as a fresh products, breakfast is poor, very old hotel. The hotel seen better times. All equipment pretty worn. Breakfast poor. Personell ranges from unfreindly at the breakfast to average at reception. The price is high for such accomodation. Dark, cigarette smell. Old carpet on the floor. Could not get Man Utd v Real Madrid in the room , only in the smokey bar. The staff misled me regarding the expected downtime, for a planned modification, of the lift. Knowing fully well ( confirmed by the technician) that they will take 4 hrs, the staff initially informed me 30 min. Again after an hour tgey repeated 30min more. Finally they accepted 4 hrs. Why was I given a room on 7th floor? The hotel had few guests when I checkedin. Again why mislead me? I had to climb 7 floors twice. I am 56 yrs young!. awful music playing in the restaurant until 1.30 in the morning. Old and not clean furniture in the room and old hotel in general could not serve breakfast or even give us sandwiches earlier then official breakfast starts (we had to leave gotel at 5am and go to the airport). We were not able to sleep because the hotel's restaurant had a live band playing all night. There was no room in the hotel that escaped the noise, and the hotel was unwilling to have the band stop. We were extremely disappointed. the room was noisy, the hotel's restaurant music was heared throughout the hotel until midnight. the rooms furniture and appliances are old and bathrooms are not convenient at all. strange smells in the showers. This is not a 4 star hotel... Very noisy rooms. Internet connection not good. Airco not good.
