  We decided very well in advance for Reina Roja for our one week stay in Playa del Carmen, and we are so glad we did. It's a very original theme and concept. We had a Junior suite and it was huge, a lot of space; a big bathroom and shower, a a nice balcony with a maniqui looking over the street. The roof top pool was a nice spot to spend some quiet hours in the afternoon after coming coming back from the - I liked Cintia and Luis. They were very very hostile and sweet. I hope next time we go we'll see them again. The location is also perfect. The staff in the restaurant also very sweet. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and though there is light all around the hotel in the room you can do total darkness. Overall loved the place. Recommend it for younger couples/people.

They helped us with ordering food and gave us directions to places around town. They even spoke English which was a plus as they could understand us and we could understand them easily. A taxi stand is right outside the hotel. It is a little pricey but convenient if you need to go anywher

  This hotel has a superior location directly on the crossing of 5th Avenue and Constituyentes. This gives you a very close distance from the beach, plenty of restaurants and bars just below 50 metres from the hotel. The best thing is, unlike others, that the hotel is very quiet and the discos are further away. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The rooftop swimming pool is so pretty, especially at night when it's lit up, also very clean. We loved this place so much that we came back twice during our stay (we were doing a road trip along the coast)
