Its uniqueness! Hostel Mundo Maya is a working progress and in a few months/years time it will be the hostel to be at. Staff extremely helpful and lovely, even though there is a language barrier.... The location is good, downtown Cancun close to shops, night markets, restaurants, etc; It is good if you do not want to be in the Zona Hotelera area.

Carlos (owner) and Monica (staff) are very helpful and friendly. Location is only about 7 blocks from the ADO bus station and close to many other things. Charlie (son) plays a mean game of ping pong.
