The hotel staff were helpful and most spoke English very well. There is a shuttle bus to and from the ferry terminal. There is usually a number of taxies outside the hotel. Walking distance to Old Taipa area and also the Cotai strip where all the main hotels and casinos are. We saw the amazing House of Dancing Water show. Visited the fabulous shopping malls.

Don't be confused by the name Holiday Inn. This is a truly upscale and nice place, no worse than all the other 5-star hotels (Venetian, Conrad, Hard Rock, ...) around it.
