The girls at the front desk were all incredibly helpful. My friend and I took a taxi from the airport at 5am and made the mistake of taking a "non- official" taxi to the hotel. We were clearly quoted a price of 1,000 Tenge from the airport to the hotel and when we arrived at the building's back entrance the guy suddenly claimed we owed him 12,000 Tenge bc it was 1,000 per Km. Knowing this was at least 6x the correct price, we argued with him in the parking lot, and things got fairly heated. One.
所有评语 » It's a small family hotel situated in the centre of Almaty. There were supermarket, restaurant, theatre nearby. Trolleybus stop and metro station were also in walking distance. Staff of the hotel were all very friendly and helpful especially the owner Almaz and his wife Biba. They were so kind to us and treated us like close friends. As we don't speak any Russian and Kazakhs, they helped us to call and book the excursion tours that we planned to join. What's more, Almaz offered us two extra fr. …what a lovely place!! There was a friendly atmosphere. Everything was great, nice room, considerate staff!!…with miss. Aima that assisted us in anyway. Wifi works well and everywhere. Hotel location is excellent as you can reach any point in the center. Wonderful the free pick-up at airport. Great experience, would recommend to all my friends and colleagues. Very pleased with our stay at the small but well-run D'Rami. Airport pickup worked out fine, although we were 30 mins late. Nice, clean and modern room with AC and a high pressure shower. Very warm welcome at the reception desk, where we were offered complimentary cold and hot drinks. The coffee was free during the whole stay except in the morning of departure, strangely enough. Very helpful staff who assisted us with a lot of things, especially the young girl who was a darling. Great place to . Got exceptional warm welcome from the hotel manager. They have worked hard to ensure my trip work well. The hotel is in the centre of centre of the city, close to Metro station and a 24 hours supermarket, which makes everything convenient. We live in the apartment which is clean and big, with a very nice view on the city and sunset. Will definitely choose again. Clean and tidy room, well-decorated interior, value-for-money, helpful staff, good location in city, metro within walking distance, many restaurants and cafes in the vicinity, supermarket downstairs, free pick-up at airport for staying over 3 nights. Don´t judge from the outside (ugly housing block). On the second floor there are 4 (!) rooms available, all very well equipped and clean. Make sure that you get those rooms with own bathroom (2 I believe). Central location at an unbeatable price. Entrance backdoor looks a bit weird but actually the hôtel rooms are beautiful and clean. Staff is very helpful and especially thé owner lady - she will help you with organizing your trip and connections to other central asia cities!. The place was clean, staff was helpful. Soundproofing was not the best but apparently it's almost universal in Almaty. It's very similar to living in a condominium with housemates. It would be much better if the signs have English as well to let non-Russian speaking tourists to find it. Nothing. Limited privacy: outside noises (from reception) can easily be heard from inside the room and inside from outside the room. The entrance is in the back of a building and not very easy to find. Also the staircase of the house doesn't look so good but once we were in the hotel it's very nice. I didnt like that standart rooms doesnt have bathroom in number, but common bathroom was very clear. We did not receive fresh towels everyday. Our room was not serviced after our 1st night, and on subsequent days the room was serviced very late in the day, after 2pm. I would prefer not to share a bathroom so I would request an en-suit next time. change in reservation should not be treated same way as annulation of reservation, especially not since we reserved extra night. Nevertheless: even during discussion about this subject the owners remained very polite and charming. They are lovely people!. I wasn't expecting a modified apartment - mini-hotel - on the 3rd floor in a building without an elevator. Nothing to dislike, really. There was no laundry service. Small rooms No kitchen or cafe. The hotel is rated as 3-star but it has "shared bathroom". They do mention it in the description but it kind of skipped my eye. The hotel is in fact an upgraded hostel. This hotel organized in standard flat. You can hear all activities of reception from your room.
