Lovely, clean small hotel, with large, bright rooms by Japanese standard. The staff is very helpful and they speak good English. It is located in a nice, quiet environment close to shops, restaurants and about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The Nippori station is on the main "circle" line which takes you to Tokyo, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and other places of interest without the need to change the trains. Hotel is a quiet and peaceful haven in a busy, interesting area, just
minutes away from many things to see and excellent traditional shopping.
Staff are helpful, although it will help if you can speak a little
Japanese. I have stayed in their tatami rooms before and this time
stayed in a single (western style) room which was spacious for a single.
Good to have free wifi, unlike many hotels. Tip - buy the koto cd at the
reception desk as a memento.
