The staff went above and beyond to help me retrieve an electronic device I left on the train. Apart from that the location was only a few minutes walk from Kyoto Station which we found perfect and the hotel was clean and comfortable, providing wifi which can't ways be presumed in Japan. great location, only 5 mins walk from Kyoto Station. also close to the subway within few mins. The room is clean n tidy, size is big enough to open 2 big luggage. The automatic check-in/out machine is modern n user friendly.

Its location was fabulous.Very quiet location and a short walk to the main transportation center in Kyoto, making it convenient for travel by rail, metro and bus. Very favorable location - few minutes from Kyoto railway station and main bus terminal. A lot of places around to have a meal. Staff very kind and helpful. All facilities in the room in good conditions. The hotel is a 5min walk to the station, where you can have breakfast and other meals, take busses to every direction. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The rooms are clean and the beds very good. Clean good sized rooms, friendly atmosphere. Quality furnishings and friendly staff. Staff can speak English.Good facilities and convenient location. Close to the train station. Very New Hotel. Good English Staff in Hotel and could provide all the travel info we need. only 2 minutes walk from JR station and 2 convenience store near by. Clean and free bath is offerred. It's near Kyoto station and just takes 10 mintutes for walking. Quiet but I still can find some good place to drink at nights. Room feels spacious from good planning of the layout of furniture. Room could be bigger but for the location and the price it is a shame to complain. Although the rooms are not that small, there's not much storage for clothes : hangers, shelves... thesame for the bathroom : more space to put your own belongings would be welcome. English is a big poor. Although automatic/machine based checkout was efficient, it lacked a personal interaction/touch. Checking out by machine made us feel like a little like cattle rather than customers. I enjoy interacting with staff and a personal touch is always a bonus, but missed this at this hotel. NO. It's a very good hotel. Enjoy there. The bed is not comfy. Some English signs would be good to reduce guessing, such as use of the voucher machine near the lift. It is slightly far from the city center. A little bit far from downtown and shopping/tourist areas. No spa/sauna/pool. Small room but acceptable for japanese and european standards. if you are not too much into fish, rice and soups in the morning, western style breakfast choice is a bit poor. Nothing really. No western news channels.. None. The Western-style breakfast is relatively poor. No check-in until 2 p.m. The first time finding the hotel from the train station was a little confusing, but that is hardly the fault of the hotel. Location was not as near to the station as "Just a 4-minute walk from Kyoto Station’s Hachijo East Exit" suggests. While it is still quite close, it should be noted that the nearest exit to the station is the Shinkansen side, and if you are taking JR, subway or bus, you have to walk an additional distance across the station to get to the exit. can not think of anything. The room is a little bit small for us with two large suitcases. 1、tv program is all japanese，maybe some cnn or bbc. Prices were pretty high, but it was high season. room (and bathroom) size very small fridge. hotel un po' freddino. Having to ask reception for additional coffee sachets!!!. Hard Bed. Breakfast could be better. It was a bit expensive. There was nothing interesting to see in the surrounding area, and it was just close enough to the train station that cab drivers get annoyed at being asked to make such a short trip but not close enough that walking there with heavy suitcases is anything but exhausting. rooms are a bit small. Nothing. breakfast is only Japanise food. 11 am check out time. Small room for a double occupancy. Front desk staff not so courteous -- actually the young ones are quite helpful, but one particular lady (an older one) waved and called at me to check in as if I was a shame to their establishment and so they needed to get me out of the lobby asap.
