  AMAZING PLACE!!! it was a small studio apartment. Perfect for the 2 of us! We have a kitchenette a small seating area as well a balcony with a bit of a ocean view. The owner was awesome. Our "room" was actually a small home, with two small floors, with a narrow staircase in between. There was a bedroom upstairs and a kitchen and sitting room downstairs. This particular apartment is very easy access compared to some others further up the hill, yet it has a second high balcony which over looked the street.   Everything about this place was romantic...the town, the B&B, the view...We were celebrating our 25 th anniversary by touring the Mediterranean. We stayed at places in Spain, France and Italy. We loved Corniglia as it was not too quiet, not too busy with tourists.... just right for what we wanted! we hiked and took the boat shuttles to the other towns in Cinque Terre. Our rooms were both nice, updated, clean, and quiet. The ground floor room was really large with a spacious bathroom and nice window, but no balcony. The upper level room was much smaller, but had a nice (small) shared balcony to enjoy the beautiful ocean view.

  Arriving into Cinque Terre, Riomaggiore was a dramatic Entrance. Beautiful coastal view directly from the train station. Hotel reception was on the main street called Via C. You need to only travel with a 18" carry on because there are stairs everywhere. We had wheeled suitcases which helps a lot!   Nice room, very clean. The staff was extremely friendly! - It was a good value for the money. The room was clean and very large. The receptionist came and found us as the hotel is difficult to find. Be aware that the street is really a narrow pedestrian walkway.

  The lady who greeted us there was really lovely, we arrived about 3 hours before checkin but she was very accomodating and friendly and let us have the room early. She was also able to give us some good advice on alternative walks in the area as the coastal paths were all closed at that time. Its totally worth the money, and we think its cheaper because its with less references now. The room we stayed at was newly renovated and spacious with its own shower. It was easy to find only around 10 min or less walk from the train station. We find the owner very friendly and adorable. Tip. we would suggest to give a specific arrival time frame to avoid waiting.
