I strongly recommend this hotel. It's not one of the houses with sea views, but it also means you don't have to climb 1000 steps with your baggage before you reach those high-perched sea view rooms. It's 3 mins walk to the train station, which is very important, since you'll possibly use trains a lot to transport to and from other villages. This hotel doesn't have breakfast, but a very friendly restaurant downstairs provides good breakfast. Laundry, postbox and a small bank is also literally do.
所有评语 » Owners were very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and new. It is right next to the Pirate Cafe, which is adorable! The Cannoli brothers, twins who run the cafe, have wonderful pastries and food, and they are very entertaining. We liked that it wasn't right in the middle of everything. Turn uphill instead of down to the harbor and look for the Pirate Cafe sign, walk along for a short way, and the La Perla Delle is on the right just before the Pirate Cafe. Also, it has an elevator--m. La Perla was the perfect respite from the heat and tourists! We had a room overlooking the street and the stream across the street. Rooms do not have ac but efficient ceiling fans worked well for us.The staff was exceptional but do make sure they are aware of your arrival time. The La Pirata restaurant downstairs is some of the best food we ate on our trip! Also a great laundry, post office and atm right outside the doors of hotel. Beautiful room, romantically decorated. Great bathroom. Very close to train station. Sound of the running brook just outside the window was very calming. Excellent staff (although no standard hotel check-in facility, the staff are easily accessible). Fantastic pastry cafe below with hilarious English speaking staff who assist with the hotel check-in if you have a problem contacting the property owner. It was easy to find. There's a lift which is great for transporting luggage. The rooms are fresh and modern and the bathroom is a good size with a rain shower head. The cafe was good for breakfast and any other meals that you're around for. It's run by Sicilian twins who create a very vibrant and happy atmosphere. They're lots of fun. There's a laundromat and post office on the ground floor. Very clean room. Everything looks like new. Vernazza is probably the best one of terre. As beautyfull as Manarola and Riomaggiore. Nice small bay, lots of restaurants and place to lay next to the water. Communication with the rest of 5 cities is very good by train and boat. Hotel is near the end of the town but it means that its 5 min from the sea :) Had a great time there with my wife. Location was perfect. Just 300 meters from train station. An easy walk with no steps and even an elevator to our floor. That's a blessing when you have heavy suitcases. Our room was clean and the bathroom modern but still had some old world charm. Beautiful view from the balcony. I would definitely go back and recommend La Perla delle 5 Terre to others. Room was well-kept and very clean, staff were friendly, and bed was very comfortable. There was a restaurant at the first floor that sells great breakfast, and also a laundromat. Though you get no views of the sea, the hills are all around which is just as great. La Perla is near the train station and easy to find. I would come here again. Small but well located being near the train stop and not having to go up too many steps to get to the apartment. The apartment was very clean and they made up the room while we were out. Jodi at the hotel was a wealth of knowledge of the area and she was very helpful in recommending restaurants including one for my wife's birthday. Short walk from train station and to town. Completely newly renovated. Quiet and a comfortable stay. View of the hillside. Enjoyable breakfasts with the Cannoli Brothers' downstairs in their pirate cafe. To find the place, just look for the big pirate statue at the top of hill and the door to La Perla is next to it. We stayed at the apartment which is right in the centre of the old village, it was lovely, this village had severe flooding in 2011 and is slowing getting back to normal, the access down is still a bit dodgy but please support the local businesses as they have endured a lot,. Alessandra was very kind and came to meet me at the train station on arrival. Room was clean, good size, with reverse cycle aircon. There was a tv on the wall which was unexpected. Clean good size bathroom. Only 5 mins walk from the station. The room was clean, modern with wi fi. Beds were comfortable. bath facilities were adaquate. it was a short , fairly level walk to and from town. We loved the Pirate cafe right downstairs for great pastries, caffee, granite, slushie !. We really enjoyed the quietness and comfort of the room. We hiked as much as we could in the area (several trails were closed and it did rain). The outside porch was nice as well and we had wonderful food at the restaurant downstairs. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were bright, clean and comfortable. Off season visit so rooms were a great value.Great adjoining restaurant owned by the Canolli bros. Vernazza is beautiful. My wife and I hope to visit again. The location is great - right near the train station, dinning, laundry mat and a very short walk to the water. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The balcony was nice too. La Perla desk manager called to help us with trail info. Some of the trails are closed so get good info before you go!!. Wi-fi only available in certain parts of hotel. The bed was a little hard as they often are in Italy. Nothing I didn't like. But there were some drain works every morning which were audible but not annoying. La Perla is located at the top of Vernazza which may not be good for those not wanting to walk far to the sea. It could be a little noisy as there is a bar just down the street but it quieted down later in the evening. Small rooms, but very doable since we were only in the room to sleep. Not always able to connect to wifi. Nothing. Only complain I have is that Wifi was not existing in my room. If they can not provide it properly they should not advertise it. The rest is only my opinion. - Towels were like table cloths. Only plastic cups (really thin clear ones like you usually see in bathrooms) for tea and coffee. TV was a size of 13 inch laptop and mounted on very left side of the wall, with this angle I could hardly see actuall pictures on TV screen. Would have been nice to have some maps of the trails available--the tourist information center was always closed. The town was overrun by tourists and there were pickpockets abounding. It rained while we were there, but it was still beautiful. Room was a little small, but for two people it was totally fine. Didn't supply beach towels. The continuing construction in front as well as the early morning delivery trucks made it noisier than we would like, and meant that the view from the window was not very pleasant. No facilities to make coffee for early risers. Temporary construction in front of hostel was loud. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything in the hallways and next rooms. The refrigerator was a camping type that would hold almost nothing. The price was high for not including a breakfast. It would have been so easy to offer a $10 coupon at the place downstairs. that apartment is not in that hotel, so it is NO wifi ROOM. and you should wait the machine heats the water for a long while,. Wifi didn't work all the time. However the restaurant under the hotel offers free wifi as well :). the matress wasnt so good,the hot water is only for one person and we had to wait 10 minutes to get hot. We were not advised that there was no longer car parking nearby. The water heater didn't allow more than one person to take a shower. That was the only draw back. A confusing tap for operating the shower. Could use a stand for luggage. Only one minor item - The mirror in the bathroom was to high on the wall for my wife. Just the mattress or our bed that was thin and smaller than the bed frame. TV reception wasn't the best. Then again this is not a place you come to watch TV!. La Perla is not a hotel, just a room. There was a small table, bed, and bathroom, but that's it. There is no one to ask if you need ice or a hairdryer, but that was ok with us. Commercial parking outside. A bit noisy in the morning. Does not have a harbor view, but isn't far from the harbor. Request a room at facing the back to avoid noise from downstairs restaurant (yummy) and street beginning at 7:30am. The mattress was marginal. Most importantly, the owner was not on site and was only there for a limited time in the morning. If there had been a problem it would have been dificult if not impossible to resolve. only the weak internet signal. Elevator didn't work.
