  Large and very confortable rooms. The hotel is a 3 star but very classy. Very new condition, beautiful decoration and so cosy. Very good "italian" breakfast, friendly and helpfull staff and great location, a little far from the croud, but walking distance to main sight. - The hotel was very quiet, comfortable and relaxed, tucked away on acorner but... 别人怎么说 » it could not have been any more convenient for all theplaces of interest.   We loved everything about Ca' Gottardi. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Fabio was a delight, and Luke must be the most friendly and positive Italian guy we have met on our trip :) The room we had was one with a view (ask for second building) and required walking up some stairs, but we did not mind!   We were positively surprised how the staff is friendly and make all guests feel like in their own home. Certainly, as we had the chance to tell them, Il Lato Azurro was the best place we stayed in our trip (which i - - The staff was really nice - The Location was charming! I loved the quitness of the island. - The breakfast is quite sober but good enough for us! - Keep in mind that you will have to travel with a vaperetto (waterbus) from venice to a seperate island! Trip will take 20 minutes and than you will have to walk for 15 minutes (or make an appointment with the hotel for a free shuttle service! The walk is nice so we didn't use this service). - Don't expect luxury, just a place to sleep!

  We loved that it was so easy to get to and from the Realto Bridge for arrivals and departures and for additional day trips... It was wonderful to be able to walk to and fro to San Marco's Square and despite the close proximity, the price was very reasonable. The hotel was spotless and breakfast plenty and delicious. They provided locked up baggage servic - The staff could not do enough for us and treated us like silk worms. Nothing was a problem. Directions, hints, tips and must see all explained thoroughly. I was nervous about getting from the airport on our own, but the directions were very clear and the hotel easy to find. The location was perfect between the Rialto and St Marco square-we couldn't have picked better! Very impressed with how friendly the staff are and how welcomed we felt.
