Our room was at the Biasin side, first floor with great views on the bridge and canal. Newly renovated bathroom, spacious 3 pers. room. Wifi worked in the room too (above the lobby). Room cleaned every day, my 3 yr old could stay with us for free, but did get her own towels etc. Good value for your money. It is very close to the train station and we went walking to the hotel. Considering that it is very difficult to carry bags in Venice and that it is difficult to find someone to help, this is a great advantage. We stayed in a apartment with 2 rooms for 3 people, very spacious, clean and confortable.

The breakfast you ask for a token and take it to the cafe below and you get a pastry and hot drink from a very nice cafe. I would definetly come here again. Great location for quick walk from train or cruise port. Right on canal...clean spacious room, smelled good, nicely remodeled bathroom. Responded quickly to e-mails, provided first floor room as requested. Handled reservations well. Location perfect. Didnt have to pull our suitcases through long venice streets. Right out the door about three easy blocks from terminal. On canal by bridge. Simple nice brfast crosson with coffee or milk. people at the hotel Marte were very kind friendly and helpful. This place is just something good for people who looks for a bed and location. Its very simple but is fair relative with the price. 1) A good location (close to railway station and vaporetto stations); 2) Windows are from the silent side of the town, so there is no street noise in the room; 3) Very comfortable; 4) Wi-fi. Location was perfect for walking in and out of Venice to the Train & Bus Stations. Great local family felling to this place. The Park next door; a gem. Location - walking distance to everywhere. Very close to mainline station. Clean, with fridge in the rooms. Brilliant view of the canal from my room. Location is absolutely great!!!Of course it is not 1 star hotel, it is good 3 stars, I could not understand why they position it as a 1 star hotel. Just few minutes walk from the main train terminal and water bus stations. The hotel is also near the street markets and location is very scenic. Nice view from the window,staff helped us with leaving our luggage at reception while we went on a boat ride before our train trip back. Great location, it was a clean, comfortable room to lay our heads which is just what we wanted. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes' walk from Venezia Santa Lucia Station and 2 minutes' walk from water bus stop. Though the old lady in the reception desk did not speak much English, she is very nice and helpful. They gave me the best view from my room that allow me to see the bridge above a canal. Room cleaned every day with changed towels. Hot water is available on demand. We stayed at Biasin - it doesn't look nice from outside, but quite cosy inside. The great location. Very good and clean bathroom. Decent location - about 15 minute walk from the bus drop-off or 10 from the train station. Water bus terminal right outside. The staff is nice and the location is great. Beside, the connect of the free wifi in the lobby is good. Close to the train station. Close to the shops. Close to the canal.Room had a nice view of the canal. Room was clean. Air condition worked well which was really necessary in hot weather in Venice :). It was in a great location and a great price. The description is completely accurate. Nice location near train station, near economic shops and food. nice location, close to main station, near river. The Biasin side doesn't have personel in the lobby, but if you wanted to reach them you could do so by phone. Minor inconvenience. In the room for a single person the light was automatic and we couldn't turn off that light. We tried even to tape the sensor and nothing!!!!!!!!!! The person in the single room didn't sleep because one slight movement was able to turn on the light. A safe would of been nice. Didn't like walking up two flights of stairs to get room key...then have to change locations and carry suitcases up another flight. Lobby had disagreeable odor, but room smelled fine. Not good location if you need quiet to sleep...right on canal with all of it's hub-bub (which I personally loved). 51 stairs to the rooms. But quiet and safe and good price. There aré mosquitos inside the rooms. 1) Rude and not english-speaking personell; 2) A small breakfast in the cafeteria next door (seems like the staff there doesn't like us eating there and paying for it to the hotel). water pressure on the shower, way too low. No facilities to make tea and coffee in room. Breakfast-it is one croussant and a cup of coffee. The lavatory in our room was blocked. All the steps He he but it was understandable as our gps took us over many bridges got lost and then started to laugh as it was so close to the railway station. The coffee shop that honored their breakfast deal was less than accommodating. They honored the deal, but were quite short, until I addede to the order, and paid for something extra. For those demanding not recommend this hotel or for those who spend most of their time in hotel. Climbing up the flights of stairs with luggages. Free breakfast means one croissant and one cup of coffee. That is too cheap. C'mon!. Shower water flow was very weak, but warm. I have long thick hair which took awhile to rinse in the low flow. Breakfast which was served in a separate cafe. Staff here not very helpful and the choice was very limited. no lift,but this was made clear at the booking stage. Wifi really only worked in reception area. Number of stairs to climb to the hotel. Stairs cluttered with deliverys. Difficult to navigate steps with bags as no lift. Alot of stairs to get to the room. hallways are pretty dark. Breakfast is nothing of mean - one croassan and one cup coffe.NO More. hot water was not adequate. No tea making facilities. The room for four is small. incline stairs, no elevator. need some more work on renovation. A little bit noise til mid-night. The hotel is noisy. I could hear the receptionist from my room. The walls are very thin. My neighbors from the adjacent room were speaking loudly at night. Eventually I had to tell them to be silent. Also there was a small problem with the hot water. They are under refurbishment and not all the rooms are at the same standard. They have a lot of stairsd to get into the hotel and if you have a heavy luggage yo will have a hard time to get in and get out with all your belongings. no elevator. we stayed at the Biasin and the entrance step up should be marked on the tile. I fell four times while exiting the entrance because i did not expect the step down. Thankfully, i was not injured. It is simple room and no enough facility such as coffee or tea in the room. But it is reasonbalbe. We did not have any complain in terms of cost performance in venice. No lifts!. generally understaffed. beds too soft/old. A bit noisy, other guests walking up and down the stairs at all hours of the night. The blanket is too thin and once I woke up in the midnight because of the coldness. Also the wall is thin for I can hear claerly someone next door flush the toilet. Reception desk is on the top floor with high stair to reach. Old-lady receptionist always duty on the night shift with minimum English. A bit noisy. Wi-Fi was availiable out of the room. If you book in the Biasin you have to check in at the Marte which is up basically on the third floor. Don't bother hauling your bags up! Wifi is available in lobby but we couldn't pick it up in our room. water is leaking from the wall that caused one bed is wetted. No elevator was a challenge with my bad knee. Stairs were steep.Mold in the bathroom. These are two hotels across the bridge from each other. There were no staff at Biasin where we stayed. Breakfast in chinafood café, hot water is not always hot, only first 10 minutes. the location is not really close to city center. for people who would like to have city adventure or surprised by Venice, not recommend this.
