Delightful stay at the charming B&B Amadeus a few seconds walk from beautiful Campo Santa Maria Formosa and less than ten minutes easy stroll from either San Marco or the Rialto. You feel like you'r staying in your own private palazzo rather than a hotel. The double room is spacious and elegant, but cosy too, with a bright modern bathroom and lovely views over the rooftops of this very atmospheric area. Luciano is the perfect host who will help you with his insider knowledge of Venice and e.
所有评语 » Amadeus was amazingly located, roughly half way between the Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square. It is quite difficult to find initially (there's a separate Hotel Amadeus); you need to head to Saint Maria Formosa square. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was good. They also let you leave your luggage once you check out and give you a spare key. The rooms are beautiful, and although Venice is expensive, the price is reasonable - for Venice. The breakfast is great, as well as the old furniture and beautiful curtains. Clean and comfortable. Our room was not air conditioned, but with open windows, we were comfortable. This hotel is difficult to find, but once found, is in an excellent location. The whole experience at Amadeus was fantastic. The apartment was fabulous with amazing comfort, breakfast and views. Luiciano was a superb host. He was very helpful and enthusiastic. We recommend Amadeus totally and look forward to visiting there again in the future. Excellent breakfast (much more than a "sweet breakfast" as advertised; we had real eggs each morning!) Location was fantastic (5 min to St. Mark's square and Rialto bridge/boat station). Good WiFi. Luciano was a fantastic host- extremely helpful. The location is excellent and the room very comfortable. Especially liked the sitting/dining area. We felt like we were at home. Friendly staff, Luciano the young man that runs Amadeus is very nice and go out of his way to please the guess, it was a family group brother and sisters,we will go back. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, enjoyed having breakfast in my room. Good location for Rialto and S Marco and 10 mins walk to the water bus for the Islands. Even people who live there were not sure where it is located, there are so many hotels. A map and directions on a website would be helpful. The staff will help you find it if you call. Everything was perfect!!!. The pillows were lousy. The bathroom is 'private', but external to the room (minor inconvenience). Overall, we were VERY pleased. No complaints at all- wish we could have stayed longer. It was a little tricky to find, and not well marked, typical for a small "upstairs" establishment in Venice. Nothing comes to mind. three flights of stairs and no lift. Difficult to find. Have to be prepared with a printed map because GPS/google map is not working or working very bad. The hotel is no where near as grand as the website suggests, however for the price compared with other hotels it was ok. The rooms are right on the reception area so you have the noise of phone calls and people coming and going. Attention, this "hotel" has no air conditioning, what is declared on the site is not true. There is not a hotel, but an apartment with 2-3 rooms, at the 2-nd floor without lift. No air conditioning , at all , in any room. After 2 days of impossible heat, the owner installed a mobile ventilator with absolutely no effect. We had to move from this "hotel" to another one, with much better conditions and better location, in the same price, also provided by "letsbookhotel.com".
