The hotel room was spacious, the underground parking was good and free, and the hotel restaurant was exceptionally good and not expensive. The staff was friendly and helpful, too. The breakfast was wonderful. My cousin and I would stay there again. Upon making reservations for two nights at the Hotel Alle Due Palme, I discovered that I had been charged for the room ahead of time. I wrote letsbookhotel.com and they contacted the hotel manager. The matter was resolved before I arrived. I left it .
所有评语 » The staff was friendly, the room and bathroom were new. The restaurant is very good. It is possible to get there taking the bus nr. 5 or 11 from the city centre (Via del Gelso, near a tobacconist) but the tickets are not sold on board. It is important to buy them at the tobacconist before getting in. The bus stop to get back to the city is near the hotel (again nr. 5 and 11 are the right buses). We spent only one night in this hotel, but we were quite happy with our stay. The room was clean and there was nothing particular we missed. Travelling with our 3-year-old son, we got three beds for a reasonable price. The breakfast was a nice surprise: tasty coffee and a variety of fruit, toast, brioche, cereal, honey... nothing to complain about, on the contrary! Free parking nearby. the breakfast was perfect. there was almost everything. the staff was very helpful and kind. the room and sheets were very clean. ı am really satisfied with my stay there and 1 week later i stayed there 1 more night and was even better. I strongly recommend you to stay there if you go to udine. the location is also good. just 15 minutes walk away from the centre. thanks for everything. We must admit that we were delighted with this hotel. The hotel was very clean with warm and cosy rooms. The staff were friendly and helpfull, and very considerate, escpecially the cleaning staff. Also we must commend the hotel restorant which was really great, with realatively cheap and delicious meals. Alll, in all it was a five star experience for this family ran hotel!. The restaurant, which was on the ground floor, offered typical Italian cuisine. The pizza was delicious, worth trying! What is more, the pizza was huge and relatively cheap. The owner of the restaurant was very friendly and sociable. Breakfast (and coffee!) was also very good. When it comes to the room, it was nice and modern-looking. We loved everything about this hotel! We ate the fantastic food in the restaurant, the rooms were big, with big bathrooms. The restaurant food was yummy and a great variety. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable with a spacious balcony. Breakfast was excellent with good service. We found parking in a nearby lot. We drove into the city of Udine as the city center is about 2 km from the hotel. I recommend Hotel Alle Due Palme. a very good service for a reasonable price, I used that for one night on my way to Florence. Coffee served for breakfast was real Italian (not from the machine). In the night I heard suddenly a lot of noise at about 6 am. The road was being cleaned with some machines which were very loud like a huge vacuum cleaner. It is advisable to close the balcony door and use the air conditioning, also because there are mosquitos. The breakfast is very simple. There are pastries and then a kind of boiled ham and processed cheese, a few fruits and cereals. The only negative thing was the shower cabin, which was very small. It might not be the case for all the rooms of the hotel and it would not have bothered us at all if we had travelled without our young son. nothing at all. The view from the balcony should be better in the coming year. Now it is a building area. But it was not an issue at all. No parking. There are schools across the road that have approx 10,000 students, so parking and traffic, especially around 1-2pm, is chaos!. The location. Nothing in particular. There is no proper reception nor the elevator. The corridor is kind of scary with all the mirrors on the walls. The breakfast hall is dark. Wifi was not working during our stay.
