Located on a hillside in the Marche region, Agriturismo Segnavento is set in a renovated farmhouse from the 1800s. Surrounded by 12 hectares of vineyards and olive trees, it produces its own wine and oil.
The restaurant serves regional cuisine specialising in homemade pasta, cakes and bread. A buffet of sweet and savoury products is available for breakfast. Wine and food tasting, as well as cooking lessons are organised by staff.
Rooms and apartments have a rustic style and feature views of the surrounding area. Each comes with exposed wooden beams, a flat-screen TV and private bathroom with hairdryer. Apartments have a kitchenette and living area.
Segnavento offers a free bike rental service and is situated 2 km from the centre of Staffolo. The Frasassi Caves, Ancona and Senigallia are within a 45-minute drive of the farm stay.

Rooms are cosy , nice view over the vineyard.
Nice views and surroundings.
Meals are rather expensive. 20€ for just a grilled steak. Rooms can be
more comfortable - shower was really small and narrow.
The agriturismo is not as luxurious and nice as the pictures indicate. Compared to other agriturismos we have been at, Segnavento is over-priced.
