  The location and the design of the hotel was fantastic. We liked how the hotel was almost brand new (having been recently restored), yet had been with the same family for a few generations. The property did not feel like a hotel at all - it felt more like a family home, lovingly restored, and open to the discerning public - A fantastic renovation of beautiful historic buildings by the owners,the finishes are a compliment to their obvious eye for design by blending new with old. Bed very comfortable and linen pristine. Our room offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside with Sienna in the distance. The welcome offered to us on arrival was fantastic without being over the top and we were relaxing in our room no more than 5 minutes after parking the car.
