  The apartment was clean and comfortable. The staff helpful as I mistakenly made a reservation for 2 not the 3 we had and they simply moved us without a problem. Breakfast was good and plentiful.   Our stay at Al Tondone was very good. And a great value! Our room was clean and comfortable with free WIFI and a nice bathroom and shower. The owner, Anna was very warm and hospitable. When we first arrived in Lucca, she went out of her way to come to the train station to show us the way to her B & B. Also the breakfast she served was better than most we had in Italy - It felt like visiting close family. Anna is a perfect, warm and very friendly hostess. We had a spacious clean room, good bed, nice breakfast in the serre and tea, coffee and water was free available all day. The garden is a very nice place to relax and have a drink. We also used the free bikes multiple times. From the B&B it is a 10 minute flat ride into Lucca. We recommend to cycle on top of the city wall at the start of the evening. You feel like a local.
