Rooms were well appointed and everything worked. Good firm superking sized bed in a standard room. A lot of the original stone had been built into the deisgn and was well done.Very quite. We had a back room 415 and with the shutters closed it was silent. In summer if you wanted to open the shutters there is an aircon machine nearby which is noisy.

Great location for Eolian islands cruises. Stayed in triple room (suite) and it was very spacious. Bathroom very nice. We didn't had breakfast included, but we had dinner one evening. The service was very good and the food delicious.

The pool area was great with a stunning view over the bay. The snack bar served excellent salads and paninis for lunch. The accommodation was spartan but clean and comfortable and well-designed so that you stay cool even at the hottest part of the day. The staff were very helpful and considerate and the shuttle bus down to the town is a great benefit. Ring or e-mail ahead and they will pick you up from the ferry when you arrive.

The island had been closed for any boats because of weather, so the owner contacted us and proposed to change for the next day. However, it was in November - low season. Excellent location few minutes walk from centre of Stromboli village, large spacious well equipped room with terrace overlooking sea and mountain behind.
