  The Petrara Resort is a charming agriturismo resort in Avola. During our stay there, there were no wandering farm animals except for a couple of cats. The pool is really big and kept clean and kids have plenty of room to wander about and play. We had a quadruple room which was quite spacious and very clean with quite comfortable beds.   We stayed for 2 days at B&B Porta di Mare. The owner, Michele, provided us the best customer service we have ever had during our trip in Sicily! We stayed in the room at ground floor, which is very spacious, with a/c and with a wonderful bed. Parking is close, but it is in the blue spaces so you need to be collecting coins to feed the meter.
