  It is in the middle of Marsala's countryside but well placed. he resort gives you a very detailed map which is very helpful to find everything you need. You need a car to go to the beach and to the city, but it is a very good deal. The place is modern with lounge bar and swimming pool, with a private parking place. The town itself is very busy with tourists so this was a big help. The charcter of the hotel derived a lot from its past as a monastery.   At first-extremely friendly, hospital and helpful staff and both of them spoke excellent English. Great location-in the very centre of Catania, not far from Duomo and very close to via Etnea-street of shopping. Hotel located in very nice historic building. I would recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to visit Catania and feel real hospitality of - The location is great. The rooms are value for money but are basic in terms of comfort. They are cleaned every day, the towels are changed daily as well. The kettle and tea, coffee, sugar are available for common use in the corridor. The chambermaid found and returned to us the clothes left behind in a hurry. Many thanks to her!!!!!! There is some noise from the nearby cafes but we didn't mind it))
