  Out of all the different options we had, we (3 friends) chose an apartment managed by Biriola Holiday - mainly because of the huge number of positive reviews. Communication with the manager, Matteo, was excellent and he was very friendly and helpful with everything - not to mention all the great insider tips he had for us! We were glad to be there in the low season, when Cala Gonone is almost empty (i.e. no tourists), - We traveled to Cala Gonone as a young couple and found Residence Biriola very easy to find. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis. The staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are clean, you'll find everything you need. The location is a little bit lonely but typical for a agriturismo and there are two awesome beaches nearby (only reached by car though). Thank you for the pleasant stay!

  Great place to stay, especially if you wish to escape a noisy Cagliari but still want to be close enough to easly reach it by car. It's situaded 5 min away from the beach, in the fenced complex of apts (which is great for parking your car too). There is a supermarket really close to the place as well. It had to be just hotel for one night before flight (had to leave early) but it was the best we stayed in all Sardinia. We really enjoyed stay there, if I go back to Sardinia around Cagliari, I stay there again for sure. We traveled around Sardinia, ant it was the best apartment of all we stayed. Worth to stay.

The hotel is within an easy 15 minute stroll of the village centre and yet remote from the hurly burly. Great Pool, extremely clean. Rooms clean and of good size and quality of daily maintenance of rooms and towel changes really good. The night reception staff member Giovanni was so welcoming after a really late arrival following a stressful journey.
