  The place was simply fantastic. Stunning views from the restaurant which overlooked the bay and hills, sunset was divine. We loved Castellabate and Villa Tamara. The apartmentd were pretty and with all the conforts. Ideal location for us, a mature couple, but there were also young families and a group of friends. If you have never been in Cilento, go there. People are friendly and the beach is nice. You're also close to Paestum one of the most important historical places in Italy.

  Perfect hotel for being close to the buses, trains and ferries to the Amalphi coast and Pompei. The hotel is right across the road from the station which was a tremendous bonus when carrying heavy luggage. We had a train trip when we left to Rome and it was easy for us. For us the hotel is perfectly located across the piazza from the strain station and at the start of the long pedestrian street which leads to the old town with many delightful little bars and restaurants. We had a very quiet, clean and comfortable room with mini fridge at the back of the hotel to avoid noise from the busy station area.
