The rooms are made out of c - Host and owner Fernando sets the benchmark of hospitality in Italy. Generous and helpful, he booked us tables at the most interesting restaurants nearby and filled us in on the fascinating history of this interesting town (over grappa). The rooms themselves embody this history and are each different, without sacrificing luxury. Simplicity as well as attention to details. Thoroughly recommend.

  Amazing cave room - absolutely HUGE! Believe this was the best room and it certainly had the wow factor and provided a unique experience. Lovely outside terrace too.Staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious and generous. A fabulous experience and would highly recommend a trip to this amazing place. - The location in the centre of Sassi is perfect.   Our stay was part of a trip that started with taking a ferry from Vlora, Albania to Brindisi, Italy and we then drove to Taverna Centomani. The ship left very late and so we did not arrive until 1:00 am. Our GPS was not very accurate and we called Maria. She drove to where we were and showed us the way.   We enjoyed our 2 nights here very much. The owners speak English and are extremely friendly. They gave us fresh raspberries and bio-apricots from their farm. Located in the countryside near Bernalda, the agriturismo is a white-walled compound surrounded by orchards. Our room was on the small side, but very clean and comfortable.
