  Although we booked this hotel we ended up in Il Burchiello across the street. For that hotel I can say that the receptionist spoke English well, the room was quite comfortable and clean. Bathroom was of decent size. Breakfast was standard continental. In my opinion not really a 4 - star hotel but definitely value for money. It was a highlight of our vacation. - The hotel is a great base to be when one wants to visit Venice, Padova and surrounding areas. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel which takes you into Venice and Padova, which I recommend highly for a visit. The hotel itself is really very lovely. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. The hotel manager is very helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had the attic apartment with the ensuite bathroom, overlooking the canal.
