Good location, near to the railway station. Comfortable clean room, decent breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff. I had delayed luggage delivered, and they called me promptly when it arrived. Good comfortable hotel just across from the train station with helpful staff who make you feel at home. Mantova (Mantua) is a great little town with excellent food, wine and gelati. The only small problem was that when I tried to shower at 11 p.m. no water came out! I assumed I just hadn't understood how to work the rather sophisticated shower, and called reception but they moved me to another room, which was a bit of a pain as I was just about to go to bed. But the new room was just down the corridor and the shower there was fine.
