This was our third stay at the Piccolo Hotel Puccini so you can guess how much we like it. The staff are brilliant and the rooms are perfect for a short stay. The location could not be better within 5 minutes of the bus terminal and surrounded by great restaurants and cafes. Would return tomorrow. The location was outstanding and the hotel offered good value for money. During my stay I required some medical help. The staff were very helpful and understanding and made it easy for me to cope. As a base to use while exploring the town, the hotel was ideal.
所有评语 » Lucca is beautiful! Restaurants, shopping and being able to exercise on the city wall was fantastic! The hotel is in a good position, a walk from the train station, basic but clean and staff are friendly & helpful. We liked the warm, friendly reception we rceived on arrival. The receptionist was courteous and helpful and gave us a lot of advice and printed out our boarding passes. We were very very impressed!. The staff was friendly and available 24 hours a day (which was great for us as we took a day trip to cinque terre and returned to the hotel close to midnight). a charming small hotel, perfect for lovers of puccini. relaxed atmosphere, tastefully decorated, perfectly located. staff kind and friendly. loved it. Excellent central location next to Puccini museum and Piazza Cittadella and very helpful staff. Perfect central location good access for parking. Location.. Nice local bars and eateries. Nothing. There were no negatives about the stay. Like most of Italy, the wifi is woeful!. Having to leavce Lucca when we could have enjoyed a longer stay!. The rooms are dark with little natural light (which didn't really matter as we didn't spend that much time in the room). In addition, there is no air conditioning. There is a ceiling fan though. The weather was mild during our stay so it didn't matter, but could be a problem in the middle of summer. No air con. Very noisy on Friday nights as bar street noise till early hours. That we could only stay for two nights !!. bathroom a bit cramped. The room and bath were small. Rooms at back have no view; rooms at front can be noisy. bed was not very good, breakfast was bad coffee was very bad. First night, a Saturday, did not get any sleep till 3am.. Guitarist with amp played till after midnight in nearby piazza and then had noisy revellers outside room till 3am. Subsequent nights good.
