  The location of the hotel was excellent, as it was quiet, yet just off a lovely square. It was so close to the grand canal and therefore easy for transport and sightseeing, eating out etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious for 3 of us with a decent size bathroom and I liked the fact it was on the ground floor and had its own hall, whic - This is a small and older style hotel but had real character, it is in a little alleyway not far from the Rialto Bridge so the location is excellent. Hotel Staff were very friendly and happy to accommodate, the lady at reception gave us a map and showed us the way to the major attractions as well as her favourite cafes and restaurants. The hotel courtyard was a lovely little place to sit for your breakfast.

  The location was fantastic. Quiet location away from the hustle but very quick and wasy walk. The hotel is much more attractive than the photos show.   Venice is a difficult city to get around in. This place was ideal because it is located on the same island as the train station. It's also in a very touristy area with lots of shops and restaurants, which was perfect for what we wanted. It was a very quiet place, so it was easy to get a good night's sleep. To be able to stay on the island is a privilege and São Paulo is perfectly located. We took the water bus from the train station after first asking for help from the tourist office at the station. We easily found the accommodation and it was fun navigating the unique streets of Venice.

Kept worrying they were going to add a zero to our bill at check out but they didn't (out of season) - incredible value for money. And the location was perfect for the Biennale - took a boat straight there from the airport. Feels like a non- touristy area. Will definitely be returning.
