The hotel is very well located. It is very close form the train station and a couple steps from the bus and taxi station. You can easily reach San Marco by foot and easily get back by boat. It's hard to find decent prices in Venice for an ensuite room within walking distance from the train station. That said, Alloggi Sardegna was a very good option.
Lady in reception couldn't speak english but we were able to understand her italian. She was very kind all times.
