  It is a very good relation of price and quality. the accomodation was the cheapest i could find anywhere in center of Venice for end august, beginning of september and yet it was quite good quality. The room was o.k., i had single room. I made a dumb move there the first night and left my wallet in the washroom with 200€ inside. Some minutes later I realized this and thought I was surely in trouble. I opened the door to my room and about to knock was a staff member who said someone had returned the wallet. All the money was still there. I don't recommend leaving wallets around.   Loved staying here - would go back again in a heartbeat. Andrea, the owner goes the extra mile. The reviews are true about this man - just lovely. A real authentic experience. We have now been tr - The location is great, next to 2 vaporetto stops, Ca'dÓro and F.te Nove (you can get to the airport easily from the latter), and yet it is not in a crowded, touristy location. The place is very unusual - in the 2 days we were there, we saw an exhibition of photographs / textiles in the entrance (as part of the Venice Biennale), and we also witnessed a dance (tango!) in the main hall. Andrea is a good host and very helpful.

  We loved our stay at Morante Apartment in Cannaregio Venice. It was in a wonderful position very close to the train station with the canal at our doorstep; There was also a park very close(great for the kids): We had a great coffe shop outside the main gate and there was a bakery, supermarket, fish market and fruit shop very close by.
