Breakfast was reasonable, with no set time to eat, so we could have the breakfast whenever we woke up in a self-service scheme, with a nice expresso machine in the lobby.   Altamira B&B is a great place to stay in Rome. Vatican City is within easy walking distance, and the Cipro Metro stop is less than a 10 minute walk away. There are several markets and many cafes and restaurants nearby. Ciro, the manager, is very friendly, h - The location was very good, 10 minutes to walk to Vatican and 10 minutes to walk to the metro which takes you to the city center. The room was very clean and there was everything in there what we needed, icluding a map of the city center, a map of Vatican and the way to Vatican and to the metro from the hotel, as well as indications about the breakfast. Ciro, the hotel manager was very friendly, polite and helpful. Parking place was available on the street for free, very close to the hotel.
