  we had an excellent time at the Sanpi--staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were superb!. very easy to access central Milan, either by walking or metro.   We wanted to be near to La Scala as we had tix, and were delighted by the hotel: it was clean, comfortable, served an excellent breakfast and all the staff were helpful and friendly.
