This farm-like setting, just near Florence suited us perfectly. We arrived with a taxi and took a bus to Florence central- very regular busline, a 10 minute ride and tickets for the bus were provided us by the B&B-owner, we returned them the next day- very helpful. Water and wine in abundance and without any extra fee; the home-cooked meal was simple and fun for an evening. The rooms are good, clean, air-con works well and all with a small cooler for drinks etc. We had a room with an upstai.
所有评语 » Nothing was too much bother for Angelo and his wonderfully attentive staff. This was a two night stay and we were able to get the 36 bus from the station in floence to via volterrana, galluzo and walk from the church to la fatterossa. It is about 10 mins walk and once you pass the bridge take the first right turn up a liitle lane. There is a pub and shop on the corner. We were on the ground floor room with direct access to a lovely garden. Our room was pristine clean with a fresh bouquet of lar. A true feeling of "Famiglia" in this suburban village retreat! Angelo is a wonderful host, especially for travelers who are tired from a long flight followed by driving a rental car in Florence traffic. Easy access to bus for a day trip to Firenze. (Angelo will draw you a map.) Easy access to Autostrada for touring Tuscany. Beautiful rooms, wonderful breakfast and an opportunity to visit with other guests over wine and dinner. Accommodations include breakfast, wine upon arrival from the famil. The extreme kindness of the family running this agriturismo; The countryside style of the place and decoration of the room; Rooms scattered around the main building (sort of old mansion) enabling a gentle privacy; Great dinner - quality and value for money: under €40 per person for a three course meal including house wine, liquor, coffee and... a 1kg Fiorentina rib-eye steak (for two to share)! As we arrive late at night the landlord (to whom we said we would arive earlier) provided us with a l. Angelo was the friendliest host I've ever had. Even though he only spoke a few words of English, he was still able to explain how to get in and out of Florence with the least hassle on our part. He gave us complimentary bus tickets, and customized a tourist map so that we could find our way to specific sights. He also comped us two bottles of the family's wine when we left! The whole staff there is very friendly they make you feel like family. It was also great that we could park our car in . I liked that we could leave our car in their gated courtyard and take a taxi into Firenze with ease. La Fattoressa was quiet, tiny, charming, squeaky clean. An authentic, Italian, family- owned and operated little enterprise exuding goodwill and the wish to please. Very dear people who laughed with us at our poor Italian and understood us--God knows how! Only one night, but just the proximity to the Florence Airport we needed on the last night of our 17 day trip from Rome to Tuscany. Just the most fascinating place to stay when visiting Florence and the adjacent Tuscany. Marvellous garden park and a pool situated just in the outskirts of the city, calm and quiet. Superb rooms, cleaned meticulously every day. Angelo and his family are the best hosts you can ever wish. The food is excellent and the wine is just twice as good as the one you can have in Montalcino!!!. La Fattoressa is located just sw of Florence, making the Tuscan countryside easily accessible. The rooms open to a large garden which was lovely in the spring. A huge country breakfast (Italian style) was served in an enormous dining room in the main farmhouse. The room was large and very clean. The owners do not speak English, but were very hospitable and we managed very well. it was a real Italian hospitality on a little farm,with nonna cooking the meals.Water and wine in abundance[no charge]nothing was a problem,they would do anything for you.Very quiet from hustle and bustle of the city,nice pool to relax and unwind.Angeloui even gave us bus tickets and drove us to the bus station,on departure,a real gentleman. Very hospitable owners and staff; it was no problem to check in early. A bottle of wine was served at the pool to welcome us. Very helpful tips from the owner, Angelo, to get to Florence by bus. He even supplied us with bus tickets. Lovely varied breakfast at a large table together with the other guests. Amazing place, just outside Florence in Italy. Beautiful location, romantic rooms, fantastic food, excellent wine, great pool and the best welcome we had anywhere in Italy. Angelo and Rosanne were the perfect hosts and we were made to feel like part of the family rather than guests. We will be back again. Angelo the host was extremely friendly nothing was too much trouble. He provided us with complementary wine, water and bus tickets to get to Florence and these extra touches - including the lollies for our daughter were much appreciated. We loved the setting of the rooms and the pool was a bonus. lovely welcoming family who just coudn't do enough for us. anjelos mama cooked a superb dinner and the accomadation was suberb in a wonderfull setting and would recomend to all our family and friends. Location is only a10 minute bus ride from Florence so makes a city visit very easy. Thank you. beautiful rooms and garden and whole place is so beautiful. very kind owner gave us great welcome. very quiet and peaceful great to take a rest. we stayed only one night, we wished we could have stayed longer. we will definitely come back one day. we strongly recommend this place. The family were very welcoming and helpful with directions to local sites. Wine in our room at night was a wonderful surprise after a long day of sightseeing and the bottle given at checkout was enjoyed at our next accommodation. excellent staff, family run. quiet, but still within 15min by bus to centre of Firenze. good restaurants around (e.g. Pepe Rosa). we have been here 2 years ago first time and now again for one night. The host is one of the friendliest guy we ever met. Feel so comfortable and relax in this quiet place. Nice breakfast and coffee. Convenient too if you really need to get to the city. Hotel owners are very kind and helpful; especially thanks to Angelo....Rooms are very well decorated and spacious, the gardens of the rooms are marvelous... Everything...the welcome..the room...the wine...the swimming pool...the hospitality was the best we have had on our trip so far. Would recommend to anyone. Angelo and his family is frendly and kind, making filling youself like a part of a family. The rooms are light and beautiful. Nice breakfast (however every day the same). The environment who is placed the hotel. Very quiet. As it was mosquito-season we needed a lot of protection to not be eaten alive.. outside garden and pool attractive up till around 8pm; For eco-food lovers the food is very easy. Didn't realize it was cash-only payment until check out, which caused a delay for us to our next destination. Angelo was very accommodating however. really nothing... Italian style breakfast there is not suited to standard American pallet. My pregnant wife could not eat the fresh bruschetta with olive oil, tomato and cheese. Nobody but Angelo could communicate in English. There was nothing not to like. no wifi receipt in the room. Nothing. Nothing - although the mossie attack when we arrived left a few unpleasant reminders of our otherwise superb stay. Absolutly nothing. nothing. We got lost in Florence trying to find the place. It is a hidden gem that was not easily found. Nothing we don't like. Just that we were disappointed not able to taste their home cook dinner as we check in too late and never request in advance. breakfast could be better. Nothing. Breakfast was ok but better elsewhere, weak WiFi. Nothing. Would have been nice to have a microwave, or coffee maker in the room. Staff were as helpful as they could be, but there was a language barrier. Didn't like having to pay cash for the room, due to poor internet reception according to the owner. notting. Lot's of mosquitos! Lack of daylight in the room. The whole place looks a bit old, it could use some refreshment. The room smell musty cause the old mobiliary, it was like we were into an old church. (Very desagreable). VERY INCORFOTABLE bed, the next day we woke up with back pain. Very small TV. We stay 2 days and the bathrooms wasn't cleaned and the towels can't be dry due humidity (They didn't change it). Very poor breakfast.
