New, modern hotel in a great location for staying near FCO if you have a rental car and are flying out of Rome. Distance by car to airport takes 10 mins. on a direct, clearly marked, straight route to the car return garage. The canal was interesting to stroll along and it was so nice to have the views out to the Mediterranean from the balcony. Really good value for the price. After having to pay for almost every personal service everywhere you go in most places in Italy it was a great surpri.
所有评语 » 1.We liked being so close to the airport for our flight back to Canada in the morning. We used the "Hotel Shuttle" @ 6 Euros per person. 2.The orange slippers provided were a delightful surprise and we loved the "orange"toiletries". They were very cheery. 3.The breakfast was very good with hot and cold breakfast items and cappuccinos,served in a lovely brightly lit breakfast room. 4.The room and bed were very spacious and clean. Our room was ready when we arrived early - a real bonus. 5.At a l. We loved it there and will likely book there again when we return to Rome next year with our teenager. It's location and views were a delightful surprise. We had a beautiful view of the Tiber, the harbor and the sea from our room. Enjoyed the room's balcony very much and the views from the 5th floor pool, sunning area and breakfast area were terrific. Staff were very helpful, We used the shuttle to the airport--excellent pricing on that. We did not use the shuttle into Rome, but noted an equall. We wanted to stay near the airport the night prior to our departure from our 2 week Italian vacation and it was the perfect spot. The room was very comfortable. Mostly, the staff were just so accommodating (which is not always the case in most touristic cities in Italy). We had two lovely meals in their on-site restaurant. The fish was fresh and well prepared. We really needed a place that allowed us to relax before our return home and this was the right fit. It was a nice area to walk as well,. The room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the water and fishing boats. We stayed one night. Free internet. The breakfast room has large windows with water views. Breakfast was good. There is a swimming pool on the top floor, wich we didn't use, due to the cold weather. There's a restaurant, but also there are plenty of small places to eat along the road. Shuttle to Fiumicino was on time the next morning and it's a very short ride to the airport, but you pay extra. This driver was very h. I travel about 6 times a year to Rome, and due to early return flights from FIUMICINO i have to stay close to the airport, and has stayed in many hotels in the area. Hotel TIBER is absolute to be recommended. I enjoy the view of the harbor and ocean, the fishing fleet and the promenade quay. The rooms was nice, clean and harmonious colored. Breakfast was to enjoy in a restaurant situated at 5th. floor, with a magnificent view. I look forward to another stay in this hotel. The hotel was well situated overlooking the Tiber Mouth and Marina. For an airport hotel it was fantastic. The hotel itself was obviously quite new, ver clean, comfortable and elegant. With a roof top pool and an efficient airport shuttle bus. The area was pleasant and I guess you could spend even a weekend here. We were on a stopover between cruise and home and it was an ideal place to wind down from the city of Rome and the cruise before getting back to reality. kind and friendly staff 1pm check in breakfast: fresh, variety, coffee quick resolve to any questions or concerns free, underground parking easy access to highway and airport room was thoughfully laid out for travellers: lots of shelves, places to store luggage, lights, outlets, desk beds comfy good water pressure and lots of water we stayed in room 416: lovely view of sea and canal ac quiet and efficient options for shuttles to Rome or airport. It was so relaxing because our room was fronting the bay, and we saw a lot of people walking on the board walk enjoying the breeze. The front of the hotel was also big and welcoming. the man at the reception was also very helpful in getting us a taxi and in recommending the pharmacy and hospital when we had an emergency. Also the best seafood restaurants were just a few meters away, and we dined al fresco by the waters!. We stayed the night before our flight home.Excellent location, tons of shops and restaurants nearby. Secure free parking for your vehicle. Conveniently only 5 minutes to airport. Situated along the fishing pier with all the boats and great view from all rooms out to the Mediterranean. Large wellkept rooms with large bathroom and showers. Next time we will stay 2 night prior to leaving and really enjoy Fiumicino. Close to Rome airport with shuttle service starting at 6AM, situated on sea canal where fishing boats docked so had interesting view. Dining room had excellent food, breakfast buffet was varied and far better than most in food quality. Fairly modern and newish, rooms not large but adequate for sleeping, comfortable bedding. Compares to a USA Comfort Inn. Would stay there again if ever flying out of Rome. Our stay at the Tiber came at the end of a driving trip to the Maremma region. We needed to be close to Fiumicino airport for our early flight the following morning and the location was ideal...10 mins away. The hotel was clean, comfortable and attractive, breakfast buffet great. View very interesting as situated along side the Tiber estuary. Good restaurants in the vicinity and close to Roma. The location is excellent to both the airport, the very attractive town of Fiumicino (10 minutes walk) and the beaches (15 minutes walk). The seervice was excellent. The Restaurant was a excellent combination of excellent service, comprehensive menu and reasonable price. the room - a larger sea view one - was attractive and comfortable. The view and the balcony were excellent. It was a great hotel, location was so interesting as it was in a fishing town and was by the docks. There was a very nice restaurant there, and the food was delicious! We'd stay there again, especially if we wanted another close hotel to the airport yet not at the airport, It was a great value for the money!. The service was excellent. Nothing too small to help you with especially the women on the desk on the 31 st may. A really well thought out hotel and facilities provided. The best 4 star hotel experienced in our travels across Italy. Some hotels were pretenders to 4 star not this one. Service was paramount!. Close to da Vinci airport and a much better option than going all the way into Rome if just staying overnight.15 Euro cab rather rather than 48 Euro and no traffic hassles. We stayed there because it was close to the airport. The restaurant for dinner was very good. There is a view of the water from the hotel and it was a step up from many "stay at the airport hotel" before leaving the next day. The room was modern but very comfortable. The hotel is close to the beach at Fiumicino but it really more of an airport hotel as it is close to the main Rome airport. There were plenty of great little restaurants around the locality and it is set on the canal where the local fisher boats come and go. Lots of local colour. The Hotel Tiber is only 2 odd years old - very modern architectural design with spacious kingsize bed room and lovely bathroom with very modern plumbing fittings and fixtures including bidet. Had room on 3rd floor with lovely view of river Tiber and to the coast. Very comfortable. It is a modern hotel that is located very near the Fiumicino Airport in Rome. It is near many restaurants and little shops. It is very clean and has nice views. Be careful if you're using your Garmin because the address is not recognized. Call the desk for easy directions. Ideally located with lovely water views, hotel is clean, modern and comfortable and moderately priced. F&B facilities are excellent as is the staff - exceptional lady serving in restaurant (12/6/13), attentive, charming with great skills and product knowledge. The airport was within easy distance to the airport and yet was out of the traffic pattern. The hotel was clean, modern, and well maintained. We had a beautiful view and there are many dinning places within easy walking. We would stay here again when in Rome. Hotel looks really new and clean. Nice staff. Just few mins walk to the coast and the sea-view by their big pool was amazing. We enjoyed our last sunset at Rome there and it was so romantic! No rush to the airport at all, settle bus will take you there in mins. The room was quiet. The in house restaurant was delightful. The shuttle service is exceptional. The luggage scale was a huge bonus for us as we did not have our own scale and needed desperately to weigh our luggage. Our room was always nicely cleaned everyday. Everything! Rooms are incredibly clean, everything worked. The restaurant attached to the hotel is fantastic, and the daily special is really 'special' and well worth the price. An array of branded toilitries is provided...and a pair of orange slippers!!!. The hotel is very close to Fiumicino airport with very goog service of transfers, rooms are very clean with all facilities of a 4 stars hotel, bar and restaurant also have very good service and excellent food, staff of the reception and in general excellent. I liked the proximity to the airport without the hassle of getting from Rome to catch a very early flight. The cab ride was only 5 minutes. I also liked being in the seaside town of Fiumicino, with the view of the pier and the seafood restaurants nearby. New, clean, stylish, friendly staff, excellent unique breakfast, excellent location if you have early morning flight (7min to the airport- 15 euro) Our room was superior, with extra bed which was small for two children, so the hotel didn't charge for it. The hotel is an upscale, modern hotel in a nice little town by the ocean, minutes from the airport. It was clean, well maintained and well managed. Usually when you book 4 stars hotel in Italy which is not chain hotel, it's like to buy a pig in a poke. But this one was exception. Everything including restaurant and room design was perfect. Was perfect for my purpouse: going to airport early morning. nothing. 1.The confusion over how to get to the hotel from the airport. We eventually took a taxi that was identified with "Community - Fiumicino" on the side for 15 Euros - a set price. 2. Fish was at every restaurant we checked out for dinner and being from the West Coast of Canada we did not care for the fish in Fiumicino. Loved everything. We called for the shuttle upon our arrival at the airport, but were told they only had one shuttle to the hotel in the morning and one in the afternoon at 4pm. We arrived at noon and around 2pm, we saw several people arrive by the hotel shuttle from the airport. We just didn't want to make a big deal of it, so we let it go. Mostly, we think people should know that the shuttles are not free. They are 6 euro per person. The fact that we waited for the shuttle at the airport on arrival for quite a long time and the driver was very rude. There was nothing I didnt like. We were lucky enougth to secure a room with a balcony overlooking the Marina. I think the food choices in the Bistro were limited though, but the breakfast included in the price was more than adequate. N/A. the driveway was closed when we arrived so the van was not able to take us all the way to the entrance of the hotel. we had to drag our bags for 10 meters. Nothing at all !!. Nothing to dislike. The minibar was not stocked. The information brochures and room service menu were missing from the room. This was attended to promptly once it was drawn to the attention of the staff. Nothing comes to mind, although, if you are looking for a seaside resort area, it will take some time for this to happen here. The hotel was a little bit hard to find. Nothing really. Staff reception are indifferent. The restaurant service was appalling and very slow. They urgently need training. Basically they need a "Rocket". Security door system to guest rooms were not adequately explained by FO staff resulting in alarm being activated when leaving room - could be improved by having better communication on arrival. The breakfast could be a bit better: The milk was not cold enough for cereal and the yogurt was also not cold enough. There was not enough selection of foods The price of a freshly squeezed juice was 5.00 euro which I found over priced as the only fruit in the juice was orange. Can't think of a thing I didn't like!. There was nothing that we didn't like. Nothing. Had to pay 6 euros each way to take the shuttle bus from/to the airport. Nothing. The hotel was a distance from Rome and from our ship's port. But we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Too distant from the Rome city center - although not a problem if you use the shuttle. I didn't like that you kept the lights on by putting your passkey in a slot and when you left the room, the electricity was shut off so charging your devices while you're doing something else is out of the question. A €100/night is a bit expensive. Far from Rome. If you want to go to Rome, then this is not the place to stay. The wifi was a bit awkward. my husband who also stayed at the tiber had a problem with the actual wording on the resturant menu, he does not eat shellfish of any kind so the meal "mixed fried fish" which he presumed was white fish was actually shellfish so he naturally sent it back, apparently this enraged the chef who could be heard from the dining area shouting and throwing utensils about which was very distressing to both myself and my husband. The room ventilation can drive one mad. It stops at 23h; too bad if you need to sleep earlier to catch a plane. Price for dinner was very expensive. We did not eat there. The only minus is the location just in the heart of harbor.but maybe for someone is a plus). I have no negative comments. the shuttle did not run frequently enough and there was a separate charge for it. Had a bit of trouble getting onto WIFI. Restaurant was a bit pricey for lunch and dinner. Only one good restaurant in Bosco and it was closed on the Sunday nite we were there. None.
