I had such a nice time at the Hotel Poetto. The people who own the hotel are just lovely - thoughtful, interested, helpful. The rooms are all new and have excellent facilities - fridge (delicious white wine on the house!), patio, incredible shower, toiletries etc. I know some people have suggested that its far from the centre, but its right on a great beach and only 10 mins on a very frequent bus service from right outside the hotel. There are tokens for breakfast at a couple of restaurants nea.
所有评语 » Nice family-run hotel in the quiet Poetto district only 5 minutes walk from perfect sandy beach. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the owner speaks fluent English. Besides beach, there is a green area near by with walking/cycling trails and a lot of birds including flamingos. The hotel is well connected to city center. The buses are frequent and it takes only 10-15 minutes to get to the Piazza Matteotti. Finally, there is a free bottle of wine as a welcome gift and I got good Italian . The hotel staff was very friendly and always helpful. Late check-in was no problem and they also gave us the oppurtunity to have shower after the beach on our last day. It was a perfect short trip for me and my 6-year-old nephew as the beach is just accross the street and a bus station too. You'll get vouchers to have free breakfast (Italian style) either at a restaurant opposite of the hotel or at the near beach restaurant. The Hotel Poetto is a great little hotel. The price is excellent, with a location about one block from the beach. The rooms are small and very clean, with nice but basic furniture. The staff could not be more helpful. Try the Emerson Cafè beach establishment to the left of the hotel, about a 5 minute walk. It is nicer than the one across the street from the hotel. Very nice and cosy hotel just by Poetto beach. Great location, 15 min by bus to Cagliari centre, less than 2 min to the beach . Rooms have being cleaned everyday, fresh towels provided, amazing shover and a coolest thing-patio. staff at the reception very friendly, helpfull and english speaking fluently. Gorgeous Beach a short walk from the Hotel. The bathroom is modern with a good, high-pressure shower. The bed is very comfortable. Such a nice clean place. The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly, always helpful, and spoke English very well. Simple tasteful design throughout the room makes you feel comfortable immediately, nice firm bed, sunny patio and modern shower. Very clean, and staff are very helpful in giving advice about where to visit and to eat. 1. Room was nicely furnished 2. Hotel is very close to the sea 3. Airconditioning system (you defenitely need it) 4. Bus stop is in front of the hotel, so you can go to the city of Cagliari by bus. Superb! Amazing stuff. very clean and well run hotel. the breakfast is almost nothing, but that's never my priority. Staff is great and helpful, location is strategic, very clean and comfortable. Although breakfast in the nearby cafes (through the Hotel) is small, it is very nice (a croissant or other sweet pastry) and the coffees were great. It appeared to be one of the better hotels along the beach. Mario was particularly helpful with recommendations and advice on places to go and restaurants etc. He was a big plus point to the hotel. Nothing bad to say about hotel. The only difficulty it is turned out that there is no buses on Easter Sunday (but there are frequent services on normal weekends). As others have mentioned, any noise from the corridor/outside the room can be quite obvious. Most guests have been quite respectful nonetheless so we did not encounter much problem of having a good night's sleep. 1. The room was small (almost no space to put your suitecases) 2. The breakfast (outside the hotel in a coffee bar at the beach) was very simple: 1 drink and 1 bread roll. No dining facilities in hotel. Reception only manned sporadically during day and closed evenings and during night. Rooms immediately surround reception hallway, so any noise very apparent. Breakfast has to be taken at a bar across the road and is just one croissant and one coffee. It serves a very light breakfast. Nothing. Suggestions: - to make a room with at least water heater to make your own tea and coffee - to add to the Web page the bus lines that lead you from the city center to the hotel (PF and PQ) and the name of the bus stop. everything was OK. Not much. Our room was not ready for check in until 1:30pm, although we were told we could check in from 12pm. This meant we had to go to the beach for an hour to amuse ourselves. I am sure this was a one-off though.
