In the middle of stunning mountains and alpine pastures. Excellent for those who want to go walking or hiking. Very few cars seen during the day due strict restictions in their usage - cheap bus service if needed - so very eco friendly. Plenty of very good food at the hotel. Staff also very good.

We loved the Hotel Seelaus. The location was magnificent with a view of
the Italian Alps and the massive Schlern. The alpine meadows were full
of wildflowers. It is a very peaceful and beautiful spot. The food is
good, especially breakfast, and the wait staff - Jan and Christian -
were charming and fun. We really enjoyed seeing them at each meal.
