Tourist House Ghiberti was very close to the Duomo and within easy walking distance of the railway station and all the attractions we came to see. Claudio was an excellent host. It's proximity to the Duomo gave us an excellent central point from which to do all our touring on foot. Breakfast selection was varied and good. Claudio was very helpful in answering all our questions. Having free interent access was great for additional research while in Italy and checking in with family.

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by Antonio who was wonderful! He oriented us to Florence, gave us a map, and made recommendations. He also recommended and helped us plan a day trip to Lucca. wonderful rooms and the hotel was in a beautiful setting overlooking the gorgeous Tuscan hillsides and mountains. Artimino had a few restaurants and the food was excellent in all of them. Good sized swimming pool surrounding by lots of loungers and lush green extensive gardens. We had an excellent stay highly recommended. -
