Casa D'oro is located in a quiet area inhabited by locals that gives you a sense of being a part of the culture. the location is easily accessible by bus and there is a small church and a great restaurant nearby. the room was quite large with a/c and wi-fi. Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, we were very lucky to be given a room overlooking the canal which was great. Cesare (owner of the hotel) could not be more helpful. He truly made a good hotel into a great one! Very personal, easy to get to from the boat stops, and a very short boat ride to the main island. Wouldn't hesitate in going back. -
