I'm sure this is one of the best b & b in all of Ireland. - Both my wife and myself loved everything about shealane guest house. I would say it was easily the best we have stayed in. Jim and Mary ,the owners were very hospitable, the breakfasts amazing and the house itself was beautifully located. I don't think we have stayed in any hotels which could compete with the hospitality of the owners and the range and quality of the breakfasts. A big thank you to them both for a memorable trip.   This B&B is located in beautiful farm country and surrounded by mature trees and landscaping. The B&B itself is part of a working farm. It includes porridge with Bailey's Irish Cream. Yum! Not only does the owner make his own scones, but he insisted on giving my wife a lesson on how to make them before we left. The countryside location is authenticly Irish. The farmer across the road and his trusty dog moved sheep and cows from field to field each morning. The room was spotless and beautiful.

Agnes is the perfect host and has loads of info to share regarding whats to see.   This was our first time staying at a B&B. We were made feel very welcome on arrival. Room was spotless and very spacious considering we had a double and two single beds.Kids were very welcome. Perfect location to explore the Ring of Kerry from. All facilities as described, if not more! The bit I love most about this place is its host Jackie who is very friendly and welcoming! She made us feel at home even before we arrived and took the trouble to make sure we find the place and even drove out to guide us to it! I will definitely return and have no reservations to recommend
