The food was delicious and great value. The hotel itself is very centrally located, only a few minutes drive from the town centre. Lovely spacious rooms, and a lovely atmosphere in the hotel/bar. Really friendly and helpful staff at hotel, in the bar and in the restaurant. Room very comfortable. Location very good.I was very pleased with the service at the hotel the staff were amazing and I would stay there over and over again.

The male at the desk was so polite and helpful at check in and check out. The hotel is conveniently located. So The Height Hotel was a baseto stay at.Maybe because we were at the end of the season the entertainment left a lot to be desired. little d=far from downtown but only a 10 euro taxi ride. Nothing. I was impressed all round. Had booked 4 rooms one of the rooms not ready til 4.30pm was annoyed as we were heading to the Westlife concert at 6pm. When arrived back at the hotel after the concert the residence bar was closed at midnight. Wanted a glass of wine to take to my room had to purchase a bottle for 19euro a disgrace.The smell of cigaret smoke in my no smoking room. Yes, an unwelcome drunken guest in my room at 5am, let in by the night porter!!!!. Lack of leisure facilities. Some of the rooms were next to a busy road.there was 2 receptionists.1 extremely pleasant male .the female receptionist wasnt very professional and i didnt like her attitude.they could not locate us because i booked on -line. My wife did not like the beds. For some reason they made her back ache. I had no problems with our bed.My room - although on the second floor - was above the bar where there was live, and amplified music, from 10 PM until 2 PM and this made it impossible to get to sleep. Whilst this was a Saturday night - and the Irish do tend to keep late hours - it wasn't a very pleasant experience if, like me, you are on a business trip and need to get up early. Tip:ask for a quiet room, well away from the bar!. The only criticism I would have woud be that shower caps and or shampoo were not provided in the room, also there wasn't a good choice of tv channels.breakfast - price or quality of food. Shower was dirty in bathroom. Didn't like the ground floor view from the room with noisy staff in the mornings.Overall the hotel was OK, the room was small, the bed linens were worn and has some cigarette burns in them. The outside of the hotel is grand, however the rooms do not reflect this. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay a little ways from city centre, this is a good place. Don't be deceived by the view... there is a small view, but only from the front of the hotel. The radiator too close to the bed to be used. The hotel hosted two parties on the weekend which made it difficult to find a parking space at night. Friday night's party had people running up and down the halls until 0300. I didn't receive my requested wake up call on my departure date.Entertainment clearly aimed at bus tour market. Rooms need renovation. Shower did not work (but the bath tub was ok), a bit noisy. One of our party, found 2 Wedding guests in his room (There was awedding party been held at the hotel) He got no help from the staff, hehad to tell them to get out himself (They had eaten, some food, he hadin his room. They had taken his key's from behind the desk (how verydangerest).
