  We arrived at 2 Mile Lodge on wet Sunday evening and received a very warm welcome from Patricia. Our room was very comfy and breakfast on both mornings was very nice.   The host, Pat, is very friendly and welcoming. I was staying in Kenmare for a wedding that was held a few miles outside the town ( in Dromquinna Manor, which is fabulous for a wedding,btw) and Pat offered to drop me out to the venue. Very kind. Breakfast was excellent. Bed and room were extremely comfortable. I had a great night's sleep - much better than reported by friends who stayed in a renowned hotel nearby! TV that actually worked. Free wifi Great location - if you know the shortcut and walk briskly, you're within 5 mins of the centre of Kenmare. Kenmare Bay and Brook Lane Hotels are just around the corner.

  The location was great! Kenmare is a small, quaint town with some minor shopping but many, many, many pubs up and down and on both sides of th street. Davidtts was also a pub along with guesthouse. It was perfect location for shopping in the picturesque town of Kenmare; fabulous shops for everything Irish, without the crazy tourist feel found - A most engaging hostess who will cheerfully answer local inquiries a head of time by e-mail, as time permits. We occupied a pleasantly attic loft that was converted for 4 (en suite). There was plenty of room and felt very homey. There is plenty of parking and a lovely brook and garden for relaxing. If we were staying in lower County Kerry for an extended period, we would certainly use this as our home base.

  I cannot say enough good about this B+B. We were part of a large group, with our room being the 'room' for 4. It turned out to be two adjoining rooms with own private entrance. Loads of room, comfortable beds for all 4, and well equipped room. There is a real sense of freshness about the place.   Lovely friendly staff who greeted us each time and were really helpful and chatty. It had a family feel which was lovely. The breakfast was delicious and a full cooked breakfast was included in the room rate, not just a continental. The room was very comfortable and clean. There was also parking out - Stayed 1 night so that we would have an early start on our drive around the Ring of Kerry. Lansdowne was the perfect hotel for our brief stay. The staff was very friendly and even though there was no elevator, the staff was more than helpful in carrying very heavy bags up the beautiful staircase. I would definitely recommend to anyone that they stay at this fine hotel.

  Thr room was lovely. We were given a lift into town to attend a function in town by the owner of the B&B. Next morning the breakfast was of a high standard with three or four options. We usually stay in hotels but enjoyed this experience and, if in Kenmare again soon, will stay here.
