Very good hostel experiece. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The atmosphere was congenial and collegiate among the hostellers. The individual room that I stayed was clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom/shower facilities showed some wear but were generally clean and in good condition. Excellent location for exploring the city and travelling to/from the airport via the Airlink bus.
所有评语 » I liked the friendly staff at the reception throughout my stay. I liked the facilities for computer people and the option of doing some things as a group on an evening.I liked the way people are encouraged to mix,for example the big tables and the forms,the splendid option to cook in the evenings,having to share a room with complete strangers (as I was a solo traveller).The breakfast set up was homely. Excellent price - even though its a hostel. Helpful fun staff - great location for city centre nightlife and airport/transport links. Breakfast included. Secure lockers € 2 one locker did for all three of us. Safe deposit options available. 1 key card each person is a big help when some hotels costing 10 times as much only offer 1 per room. Great location to travel anywhere in the country as the Bus station is a 5min walk. We had a private room and the bed was very comfortable, there was a mirror and shelf, hangers and a chair. Very quiet at night. Good breakfast. Buying the bus ticket for the airport is 1€ cheaper and the stop is round the corner. The people were so incredibly nice, and fun! The office staff were very helpful, and the atmosphere of the hostel was great! The pub crawl was awesome, and the free walking tour was pretty fun! The best hostel I've stayed in yet. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Loved them. The location was really great, and the facilities were nice and kept clean for the most part. The staff, the location, the price, cleanliness, soft beds, cheap towels, sauna, mini yard, the cozy decor, did I mention location?. Great atmosphere Fun way to meet other travellers Good location, could easily walk the entire city in one day from this hostel. Andre, Alex, Kevin, Andy, Martina, Ronan, Daniel and James are very nice people, very hopefully and always smiling =). Great place to be for Dublin visit, close to the city and breakfast value for money. Very relaxed friendly atmosphere with great staff and guests!. It had a free walking tour . A free sauna . Near the shops / restaurants . Small back area for smoking . Alcohol permitted, as well as free Wi-Fi, which is a very reasonable and kind gesture, no doubt. I liked the atmosphere with great staff ! And the style and cleanliness. The place is not bad, you can do many activities. Nice staff, room little but clean. Isaacs Hostel is conveniently situated near River Liffey minutes from main attractions in city centre and a short bus ride to Kilmainham Gaol, Guinness Storehouse, Jameson Distillery, and that famous cemetery. The bus stop that serves the Dublin airport is across the street and there are good food choices a few minutes away. Good value for money. Cute exposed brick decor in the basement. Comfy bed. Dorms and bedding clean and neat. Mattress fairly comfortable. Staff is personally friendly and welcoming. Some effort at recycling and food waste. Isaacs is best for guests who can afford to eat out or take in. Low price.(included breakfast) good location. Bit of a delay at check inbut considering this is a city centre hostel it was great value and reasonably comfortable. There are no lifts. The area is a bit rundown and could be dangerous at night but the Gardí station is very close. It was quite warm in the rooms. The main room too crowded Too noisy and cluttered Too many consuming excess alcohol No place to actually eat/read in peace. Being next to a train was a little annoying sometimes, but I have no real complaints from my stay. Lack of hot water (water was quite cold at almost all times), no wifi in the rooms, poor-medium wifi where it is, creaky floor boards ensure you wake your roommates if you enter late, my card stopped working 10+ times a day. in the weekend night very busy and crowded, difficult to sleep. A little noisy, but nothing I didn't expect!. The internet was really crappy and the walls were so very thin. Beds too close in 6 bed .Locker room was a bit chaotic, felt like a torture dungeon. But the cages were safe looking! My cage had cooking oil spilt on it, I knew because the bottle was still there, but someone had thoughtfully put down a cardboard box. Logging onto free wi fi means announcing to Facebook your whereabouts. Very loud, train just outside the window. The mattress sheets weren't clean. Floor corridor very noisy when people walk on. Breakfast a bit poor. No lift , had to climb 3 floors with my bags . Noisy because very near train tracks , till 11p.m. when trains stop . In bathrooms no place to keep soap and toiltieres while you shower . Low capacity and messy in the men's toilets. The card key I used didn't get me access to my room after leaving the room less than 5 minutes TWICE!!!. A little noisy because we have different times to sleep ! There isn't really a problem !. The receptionist did not allowed me to print the boarding pass. Bathrooms/showers under dimensioned for the number of the rooms. There were no quiet spaces in this hostel. Electric sockets were not working in dorm rooms. No wifi in the rooms, and weak signals in the common area in the reception and the basement, where it was almost always busy. Wifi logon is either through multiple Facebook checkins (ask for the code instead). Floors were creaky in the room and above us. Reception staff are hit-or-miss. Only suitable for those who want a roof over their heads and a pillow for the night, and not much else. No energy applied to solving problems in kitchen, cupboards, and fridges. Same foods in cupboards and fridges week after week, a complete mess. During meals food on floor, underfoot, on counters, on tables where people must eat. No real kitchen towels to dry kitchenware. Blue paper towels from roll waded up and thrown all over the place. It was first time to see the hostel like this. couldn't put my bag in reception before check in time. there is no hanger in the room. only one light in the room for 16people. the best one was i awaken by staff at 4am because of his fault. it was absolutely brilliant haha.
