  Excellent location, just a short walk to centre of Ubud yet set in quiet garden. Beautiful temple across the street. Garden setting was lovely, spacious with lots of trees and flowers to enjoy. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast out in the garden by the pool was lovely. Fe - Amazing! We stayed in a private pool villa and it's quite amazing. A kitchen and breakfast space outside, the pool, the room with a lot of space, the nice people always trying to help, the natural environment, a big bath tube, everything was really good. Not very far the centre of Ubud... you can walk and get there in about 15 minutes or less! we really felt home here... In the messy and touristic Bali, this place makes you feel what was the island when the tourists were just arriving!!!

  The accommodation was clean, modern and well maintained. Staff were helpful and friendly. You are a 10 minute walk from the main area of Ubud shops, but it's a pleasant walk. The plus side is it is peasceful and great views of the hills and rice paddies. Putri Ayu also offer free transport when you want to go into town.   My three sisters and I love the villa, its staff and surrounding areas. We have all that we need (geckos, roosters and birds included) for a great stay. A new villa is being built next door but there is little noise to disrupt our quiet vacation.   We had excellent personalized service typical of a home-stay. The caretakers and driver were always available to help/drive us out to town or sightseeing any time of day till night.
