Having traveled extensively in Bali over the past 20 years, I am happy to say that Samanvaya is my absolute favorite place to stay. The setting is wondrous, and an afternoon in the infinity pool overlooking the rice terraces will soothe even the most weary. The owners' attention to the needs of guests is unsurpassed. I was able to arrange special menus before arrival. The restaurant is excellent, with a varied menu, good wines and a totally relaxed ambiance. The many services provided by the ho.
所有评语 » Samanvaya is a beautifull place, with all the rooms overlooking the rice fields. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. The rooms are always very clean and the design, mixing traditional Balinese architecture with modern comfort, is just perfect. The tours offered were amazing, mixing the beauty of the sidemen valley countryside with the interesting local culture. We had Ketut as a guide, and he was great. The owner Christine was always friendly and helpfull. The swimming pool is as . Location, facilities, room and bathroom (half in and outside), information in the folder clear and sufficient. Also verbal communication with stuff and the owner simply perfect. There are many short or long trips you can arrange via Samanvaya. Bicycle or scuter rent possibility ( don't forget arrange intrnational driving licence). Recommended for relaxation!. Super friendly staff and excellent service. Top location. If you want to meet the real Bali people and want to see what Bali really looks like, go visit this resort. My daughter had fever at the time we visited your resort. A beautifully designed room with an open air bathroom. The Staff were very friendly and helpful and they all made our stay very special. The scooter tour was excellent and a definite must. We loved our stay here and would definitely return again. This place is beautiful, everything is almost new, awesome views, the personal is treated nicely and you can feel a nice vibe between them, which directly affects the service, which is great. Food of the restaurant is presented nicely and good portions, delicious (although not breakfast). This place is amazing, the location is beautiful, the view breathtaking. The resort is very clean and well constructed, stylish and cosy. Best place I stayed in Bali. The personel were young and motivated local people, giving the place and nice dynamic. The hotel offers a free of charge room service. They don't bring everything at the same time so you can enjoy your dinner at your terrace. You can hire a guide for hiking in the rice fields. The hotel is located in the middle of the rice fields. If you have a problem with animal life (some insects and geckos) you have to deal with it, because this place is gorgeous and it's worth it!. Dinner was not a big success (value for money). Small portion of the chicken in the almond sauce and hard beef. This came as a surprise as the breakfast, lunch and juices were very good!!. We found quite some ants in our bungalow and a frog in our bed before going to sleep. Your helpfull staff got rid of the frog. The music which was playing during dinner was a mixture of spanish and Italian music. I prefer to hear indonesian music. Especially when you are in such a nice surrounding in Indonesia. That we couldn't stay longer because it was fully booked. If you are not much into nature, just be aware that rooms are open to the rice fields, so all kind of insects will be in your room, to me was a bit hard to sleep, and that was the thing I really didn't enjoy. Breakfast, compare with the quality of lunch and dinner, it is very very poor, we missed some nice bread, real mixed fruit juices, fresh bakery. A real dissapointment. I'm sorry to say so, but anybody complaining about this place should stop travelling and start thinking about moving in a retirement home, like right now... Rooms were a little on the small side but perfectly serviceable. No substantial complaints at all. We had a very nice stay. Noise early in the morning from children chasing away the birds. Shower pressure wasn't great. Rooms with balcony are quite close to the pool which some people could think is less private. We didnt mind though. Half open bungalow, so quite some "nature sounds" during the night, but that's part of lodging in the fields of course. Guided tour on scooter was rather poor value for money. Mosquito net needs a wash!! Several dirty spots. That I had not allowed more time to stay there. A bit far from city center, but the view is worth it. Facilities are very basic, hotel staff virtually disappear at night, u are all alone after 9:30 pm. Rooms have no telephone even to call room service or reception, rooms are open to the outside so anything can get inside from the wild around us. We did the walk through the ricefields recommended by the management. It turned out to be a very dangerous exercise as you walk on the concrete side strip of an irrigation channel. Our advise is to stay on the main road. The bungalow next to the reception is noisy. Everything you bring will get damp during the rainy season since there is no airconditioning. Nothing. The boss dindn't say hello , the restaurant (lunch And dinner) way much expensive compare to the quality And quantity. 20% tax everytime . And the tours are at least twice more expensive than whath you can find in the village .
