  My time at villa karisa was just outstanding! It is so peaceful and quiet there the rooms are comfortable, clean and have a great Balinese style. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach and close to shops and restaurants all of seminyak is a short taxi ride away or a walk along the beach.   I liked that it was cheap, only cost $118 for 3 nights for two people twin share. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. The location was ok being on the road towards the beach (10 min walk if that). Takes 10 min taxi ride to Kuta (80,000 rph). It was also a quiet area in terms of the street and the beach.   We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Bali Ayu. My partner Sean has stayed many times but for me it was the first. The staff are absolutely wonderful! The hotel is set on a busy main road however all the rooms and swimming pool are set back and surprising quiet. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The villas are a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 mins to the main part of Seminyak.

The beach is very close but we were disappointed with the eating options outside the hotel in as much as restaurants and shops were too far away and spread out.
