  To be honest, by the time two hours had been reached after leaving the amazing Kolkata airport, and with my taxi driver throwing his hands up in the air, not able to find The Kei, I started to entertain the prospect of finding somewhere else to stay. Eventually reached the non-descript building and hauled my luggage up one level, almost convince the alternative hotel plan should - From the outside, I was really hesitant about staying at the Kei but once I stepped in, I was sold. It is very clean and well maintained and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Very convenient location once you've found the place (it's not a standard hotel so not very easy to locate). I highly recommend The Kei
