The rooms and all facilities are brand-new. The hosting family is trying to give a special familiar atmosphere - and it works. A great possibility to learn more about how people really live in Reykjavik. Icelandig hospitality as it's best! The house is located close to bus station and shopping center. You can also take a walk to the city center (25 mins). The owners are great and are part of what makes this guesthouse so pleasant! Everything is new - very nice and comfy rooms, a lounge to relax and talk with other guests, and a nice clean bathroom. The location is also quite fine, it is ~10 mins by bus from the city center and there are plenty of nice restaurants in walking distance.
