  I have no words to describe the absolute beauty of this place. It is a perfect balance of luxury, outdoors, and harmony. This is the type of place where you find yourself and your partner again, and you truly realize how nice life really is. Best place ever visited, lost sense of time during our stay. Over all on the scale of 10 we rate it with 12.

  The room was very rustic in appearance but was outfitted with all the modern features. The kitchenette is quite complete, so stocking food for a snack and/or a more robust breakfast is a good idea. Grounds were beautiful. A great place for a quiet and restful few days or week. NOT for the night-life crowd! As Yannis said in greeting us, "Welco... 别人怎么说 » me to the end of the world." There is nothing but nature, beach and a few tavernas at the beach. There are remains of a Minoan Palace, and they were - The welcome, which couldn't have been warmer, plus fresh oranges and lokwatts from their trees, cake made by Katerina's mum, and a constantly re-filled bottle of raki. Splendid local walks, lovely beaches, very friendly people. Yiannis' retreat is an absolute gem, perfect in every respect, from the immaculately-kept gardens to the spotlessly clean rooms, to the individual terraces with hammocks and deck chairs, the views of the sea.......I could go on!
