Nafplion centre is a short drive or 15 min downhill walk. Karathona, a beautiful sandy beach is nea - A very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Sofia made us feel very welcome and, as we didn't hire a car, kindly picked us up and took us back to the bus station. It is a fair walk down into the town but we enjoyed the views and the exercise was needed after all the delicious Greek food! We would happily return to Nafplio, it's a lovely old city with great cafes to watch the world go by.

  The location is quiet but still near tavernas and shops. The room was attractive, spacious and clean and the bathroom very nice. I asked for non smoking and did not smell any smoke in the room. The best part was the wonderful caring attitude of the couple who run the pension. The rooms are modern, clean, and nicely decorated. But the best part of our stay was the help we got from Magra (sp?) who runs the place. Her English is good, and she made us feel at home.   The manager and her daughter are so customer-friendly - approachable and go out of their way to help you! The location is ideal - on the water with a private beach (no one used it while I was using it) and still had a pool. The room was great - overlooking the pool and out towards the sea. Extremely friendly and genuinly welcoming staff. Wonderful surroundings and perfect location for visiting Mystras and Sparta.   I loved everything about the Guesthouse. It was on the edge of this small township, in a very quiet setting but it was a couple of minutes walk to the bars, shops and restaurants.
